Jeff sent this: Mike, I saw this quote from country music star Miranda Lambert and thought you’d like it:

“I mostly deer and turkey hunt. Usually during deer season I try to take Mondays through Thursdays off for a couple of weeks to go hunting. My biggest deer is a 145. I’ve got some trophy mounts.”

Oh yeah, we like country girls.

I think you should ask her to join you on a hunt for your show!!!...and tell her to bring her hubby along he is pretty dang funny in front of the camera!

I wonder if Miranda lucked up and killed that 145 buck while sitting on a bucket in her backyard with an 06 in one hand, and
a PSE compound bow in the other one.

Has anybody seen any photos of the shoulder mount yet?

I saw her in a segment on Realtree Outdoors and she smoked that 145 from a ground blind with a nice shot. Good 'ol country girl for sure.

She is smoking hot looking. I don't know if I want a wife that hunts with me. I think I need some ALONE time with the boys to keep the marriage going stong. Her husband Blake is hysterical. I'm just glad she hunts, we need all the help we can get. I feel it makes a person pure.

Silverback You make a good point. My friends say they wished their wife loved to hunt like mine. I tell them to be careful of what they wish for, many times in the fall we have to split stand time to watch the kids and attend school events.

I love Miranda's music she is a very talented singer song writer and she sure is pretty. Her and Blake make a awesome couple I love watching them deer hunt on tv. I'd like to spend a weekend hunting with them I'd bet deer camp would be a hoot with Blake and her!

I wouild rather argue with my wife about who gets to hunt than to argue about going hunting. I know it would be tough with small kids.

Well, NC regs just came out and bow opens Sept 11. I guess i better start sucking up to the QB.
