Nice Find: 152-Inch Matching Deer Sheds

This pic popped up on my Facebook page this weekend. Really nice find of clean, symmetrical antlers (probably 4 1/2 year old buck). Picking up a matching set doesn't happen that often, pretty cool. Don't know the state, but looks like a brushy ridge somewhere in the Midwest. Now that the snow is melting away, sheds should start popping up all over. Send me your shedding report and photos. comment

I love the white lines he rubbed on those brows. It's gonna be a long summer waiting for that big boy.

Here in Southwestern Wisconsin our cameras showed 5 bucks that had both sides including 3 of our shooters. I have only 1 shed so far and that was a 44 in. 4 point side.

That is a gorgeous matched set. I had my best weekend shed hunting this weekend. Found my third of the year on sat, and then went out last night for 30minutes to an alfalfa field that the snow filnally melted out of and find 4, including my first ever matched set which definitely got me pretty excited. So I am up to 7 here in northern,va.

reminder everybody: if u see bucks stil carrying horn like Scott did, stay out of the woods, you don't want to jump them
and move them and cause them to lose their racks all over the place; they'll all be bald in a couple weeks, then go

Grant,
Can you post some pics? I need to get back out myself. I found one Saturday a small 4 point with a 5" brow tine. Never saw him before. I check my trail cam from last year, but he's not on there. I found the shed, ironically, in the spot where the cam was, 100+ acres later.

Good find! Be a nice one to whack next year. Definitely something to look forward to! A few bucks in southern IL are still carrying. I think that the majority have dropped them though. Have found 17 so far. 2 sets and probably a 5 pt side that will measure around 70in. Between my brother, dad, and brother-in-law we have found over 30! Hope to find a few more. Mushrooms will be popping and fish will be biting before long though!

I found my first of this year on Saturday. I don't do a lot of shed hunting because the terrain around here is so thick, its nearly impossible to find them. I found this one like I have found most: I was clearing out a lane for a ground blind in some planted pines when I looked down and saw what I thought was a couple gnawed saplings. As I stared at it, it finally hit me that it was an antler submerged in water with only the tips sticking out. It was a 4 point with a very large brow, but it was from last year and it was gnawed up pretty good.

Went out last evening to swith the Cuddeback to a new spot. I got several bucks eating the mineral supplement I have out in 3 different spots. Most were shed out, but one still had a full rack, and another youngster had one side still. I did manage to find the right side of a young 10-pointer I passed on last October. So, I've got one down, and hopefully many more to go.

Warlocks can be a difficult class to play, but if you can do it well you will be the envy of all other damage dealers. Most people will despise you in Player vs Player battles.
