The email I got said the Kiernan Buck will be on display at the Illinois Deer and Turkey expo this weekend! This incredible deer was arrowed by Elite Archery Prostaffer Chris Kiernan last fall and it will be on display in the Elite Archery booth.
This giant nets 268 1/8 and has 37 points, including the big drop.

If you are in the Bloomington area this weekend you ought to stop by and see it, this monster is worth the price of admission. Not often you will get to see a 268 buck up close and shake the hand of the man who killed it. comment

O.K. everyone, I'm certainly just kidding here. Chris Kiernan is a great guy and a super, laid back fella who truly deserves this buck. Couldn't have happened to a better guy! If you met him and got to know him as I have you'd understand why I say the things that I do. Chris is a "blue collar" chap like the rest of us. He hunts some good areas and has a knack for getting the job done. HIs rolodex of bucks that he has taken is second to none.

Flatlander's Gravatar i live 15 minutes from the deer classic and was there Friday night and all day Saturday........... i never saw it there.......
maybe it's gone nocturnal......you know they say "you rarely see those big ones"...........even after there dead :) lol

decent show to go to if have a huge excess of cash to blow!!! still not sure it holds a candle to the Iowa deer classic......
if you are truely a whitetail fanatic go to the Iowa show in Des Moines at least once in your life!
