Trail Cam Pictures: Antlers are Growing!
One of our bloggers set out his Cuddeback on June 11 and set a mineral block to bring the deer close. The camera said it had 50% battery life left. On Monday (June 29) he went out to change the batteries and the CF card. He had gotten nearly 200 images/videos in about 18 days, including the image of another real dinger (he shot a good buck in the same area last fall).
In the first image, you can see the buck is working on a pretty fair spread. His bachelors are still all around him.
Here he is days later all by himself. At this point he has pretty much taken over the minerals. Love those brow tines! I think he's going to be a main frame big 8, but I don't know for sure yet.
“Mike, I put fresh batteries in my camera yesterday, and I’ll keep you and the bloggers posted on how this buck grows the rest of the summer.”
Cool, I look forward to it. I agree he looks like he’ll be a main-frame 8 and a big one! comment
Should be a good one!
